I currently have a Photographer and he uses a Sony SLT-A58 - previously used a Fujifilm.

PagePlus X7, Photoshop or Ribbit.

How did you create your banner?
I used Serif PagePlus X7 to cut and stick pictures and photos together along with the custom font. My previous header was created for me by the lovely Natalie from YourAlmostAlice.

What camera do you use to film your videos?
Rob uses a Sony SLT-A58.

Who designed your layout?
I did! I've struggled many late nights with HTML - and always looked to fellow bloggers for some advice etc.

What made you start a blog?
Back in 2011 I toyed with the idea, but being a 18/19 year old and completely self-conscious of what other's would think of me and didn't do it. In 2012 I took the plunge, with much support from my family, friends and my guy and created 5'1 is the new 6'2. It was a place I could share my thoughts on fashion, beauty, and my life. In the beginning it was just complete ramblings and it's definitely grown as I have.

Why did you call your blog 5'1 is the new 6'2?
I'm a gigantic five feet and one inch tall and my Mum once said to me, "you don't have to be six foot two to be a model" and so 5'1 is the new 6'2 was born as a name.

Why is your tagline "Fashion.Beauty.Life - and a RED LIP?"
When I became a full time reporter I took to wearing a red lipstick, again, as my Mum said "A red lip never dates" and I was told it's a 'fitting, professional and more mature look' since I look about 12 without make-up! I also note, my lips look a lot thicker with a red lip and so it stuck, having now getting recognised around my local town as 'the reporter with the red lipstick due to my monthly column, where the little picture of me featured me in red lipstick.

What do you use to read blogs?
I tend to use Bloglovin', but at the end of #bbloggers chat I always asked for links to blogs, because I LOVE finding new blogs to read - so please send me links guys!

Have you ever been trolled or cyberbullied?
Oh my gosh, yes! Back in 2012/2013, my blog came victim to a personal attack from a group of local people. After much trolling, personal and blog abuse, they eventually hacked my email, got into my twitter, Facebook and my poor wee blog suffered as they deleted literally everything and replaced it with two rather disgusting post's.

How did you beat the bullying?
On a personal level it hit me hard because of what happened overall and I sought some help from family and friends who were a fantastic shoulders to lean on. With my blog, I reclaimed it and built it back up from the bottom, which was brilliant as I received amazing support from the blogging community. I also sought help from cyber smile and in  my specific case, unfortunately the police.

What advice would you give to new bloggers?
Don't let the keyboard warriors dissuade you! As Taylor Swifts "Haters gonna Hate(hate, hate!)" and that's sh*t, but that's life - embrace your imperfections, wear them, celebrate, don't let other's rule you with them, (to misquote George R R Martin)
Don't write post's or buy products just because others are, write what you want, how you want to.
Don't lie about products, if you hated it, tell us why. If you loved it and other's didn't, still tell us why, we won't judge, we want to know!
Don't feel pressured and don't concentrate on followers, it doesn't matter how many you've got, just enjoy writing about what you love!
