I feel pretty special that after seven (and a half) years with my guy that we still go on dates - when we get the chance, that is.

Well, recently, my guy and I had a bit of celebrating to do so we decided to have a very coupley night out of drinking, talking and relaxing.

But even after seven (and a half) years I really like to make an effort for my guy, and when I usually go for a dress for our dates - I decided to go for something a little different.

1: Topshop Petites Lace Plunge Tie Body
2: Petite Cobalt Geometric Print Bengaline Trousers
3: Red Herring Suedette Heel Block Court Shoes
4: MAC Cosmetics Ruby Woo Matte Lipstick
This is not my go-to look, but when I saw this body suit and those trousers I knew I needed them - but it wasn't until I got a little bit of advice from my bestie that I paired them together

The trousers are much more daring, but once I tried them on they had to be mine - plus at £12 I couldn't say no - my only tip is if you're buying them go for a size smaller I'm usually an 8, in most shops, but I had to get a six.

It was my dad who actually got me the Red Herring shoes for us to attend a wedding - and you got me: mine are actually dark blue, but they don't sell them anymore. These shoes are super comfy, pretty and so versatile - a must!

I'm often a little cautious about body suits, because I feat the dreaded camel-toe or VPL, but this gorgeous number is such a flatterer when on and the back detail is just phaw - take a look:
Are we cute together?
Call me a prude, but my only criticism about the bodysuit is its a bit too  plunging for me  - it split a bit low so I used my sewing skills and tacked in a little modesty.

My look wouldn't be topped off without my trust MAC Ruby Woo lippy - my other  soulmate.

So that was my recent date night look - have you got any recommendations on other pairings for this bodysuit? If you do pop a comment or drop me an email, I'd love to know!

Ciao for now,
