Recently I ventured up to Glasgow to go see the one and only TAKE THAT i.e only the best band EVER!

While there my chap and I did the whole site-seeing tourist thing, ventured out for a few drinks and to the OFFICIAL TAKE THAT AFTER PARTY, of course, all of which had me pick a few outfits to share with you...
OUTFIT 1: Drinks at the Hard Rock Cafe
OUTFIT 2: Take That at the SSE Hydro
OUTFIT 3: Take That Official After Party

OUTFIT 1: Drinks at the Hard Rock Cafe:
I'd heard some amazing things about the Hard Rock in Glasgow so it was a must as we were planning. I decided I wanted something classy, yet fun. So a LBD it was; this cut out side slip dress is from Topshop. I picked this number up when visiting my BFF in Birmingham and its proven to be a versatile  - it's suitable for a more formal occasion, but also slips on easily for a night out. The outfit was complete with my trusty Louboutins and a simple necklace. I thought I'd make the dress the feature and downplay accessories.

OUTFIT 2: Take That at the SSE Hydro:
Obviously, this outfit was going to feature a Take That tee. Some people have AC/DC or Black Sabbath, well I take pride in a good Take That Band tee - and though it was a small, it was unisex, so I had to tuck it in, rather than have it flapping around my knees! I paired this tee with some trusty black Topshop Jamie jeans and my classic flying pig vans - though these aren't made anymore (I actually think they're now vintage and I'm old!).

OUTFIT 3: Take That Official After Party:
What do you wear to a Howard Donald DJ set? Obviously something that makes you feel hot - so he'll notice you and, obviously then want to leave his wife for you - and something you can rave in! Some striped culottes and a  cropped-top combo seemed to fit the bill. You can't actually get these Topshop culottes anymore, but I found some similar HERE that would work just as well. The cropped top was an absolute steal from River Island, this black 90s ribbed crop top was actually in the 2 for £10 section and I picked it up in Glasgow - as there is so many amazing shops there, it was hard not go a bit mental! Again, I paired the outfit with my Louboutins (I didn't want to pack too many shoes) and I popped on my black leather Topshop jacket to go out in.

I topped all looks off with my trusty MAC Ruby Woo lipstick, as you can tell from the different looks above, it's so super versatile and can add to any look; casual or fancier. Though, TBF, I did have other lippys with me and did wear pink, nude and coral with other looks that aren't pictured in this post.

Glasgow is amazing city, such culture, shopping and entertainment at your fingertips, I would definitely recommend it for a cheeky weekend away - but bring a jacket, I'm northern so I can brace the cold, but it does get cold up there!

Ciao for now,
