So, I've been a bit AWOL from the blogosphere, don't hate me, I had to finish my degree and get a job - as you do, with this sorted, I've back! Yaaay! I'm not just back, but I'm back with a review of a fabulous little box I've fallen completely in love with!
Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser,
Aromatherapy Associates Revive Morning Bath & Shower Oil
Benefit Cosmetics They're Real Mascara
Soigne Nail Polish in Cerise
Beauty Protector Protect Shampoo & Conditioner
So, what did I think?
Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser:
This cult cleanser leaves skin perfectly cleansed and prepared. I've used it in the past and instantly fell in love (as which blogger didn't?) It's a nice little size for me to take on my travels, to keep my skin going, but it's best features are it's ingredients; the moisturising cocoa butter and two of nature’s best astringents – eucalyptus essential oil and rosemary – lift dirt off the skin’s surface without disrupting the natural barrier function - perfect if you've got stubborn skin like me.
Aromatherapy Associates Revive Morning Bath & Shower Oil:
I never used to be a huge fan of bath and shower oils as I used to think they made my skin feel odd, plus I have sensitive skin, so sometimes I steer clear, though when I used this, it was the complete opposite of my expectations. It has an invigorating and refreshing blend of pink grapefruit, rosemary and juniper berry softens skin and uplifts your mood for a reviving start to the day. I used it before a busy long weekend working a festival and it certainly did fight off that sluggish early morning feeling.
Repurchase? Maybe - It's price puts me off so maybe if someone want's to buy me a pressie, otherwise I'd have to wait for pay day!
Benefit Cosmetics They're Real Mascara:
Another cult blogger product, this is a product I've already owned (Which blogger doesn't?) and repurchased -twice! It's a beauty must-have, it does exactly what it says on the tin! If you're looking for a holy grail mascara, this is definitely the closest I've gotten so far!
Repurchase? Definitely, YES!
Soigne Nail Polish in Cerise (Full Size):
I'm a bit nail obsessed, so when I get a full sized, luxury nail polish I'm a happy wee blogger! This new brand screams luxury and the results back it up! I applied two coats and it gave such a high shine and gloss finish! It lasted 5 days with a top coat, and I can't wait to buy some more from this brand!
Beauty Protector Protect Shampoo & Conditioner:
This being free of nasty parabens and vegan friendly I was incredibly excited to try this! It proved well with beautiful scents and made up of honey pearl powder, which is rich in conchiolin, an ingredient that acts like the hair protein keratin helping fight the mass enemy - frizz! I was really happy with the results as using both together left my hair tamed and soft ready to go - my only complaint is I want more in a bottle!
Repurchase? Maybe - Again it's price that puts me off, together for both it would be £37 which is way over what I usually spend on hair - though it may be work it on payday!
This has to be the best monthly beauty box I have received to date. I think Birchbox may be the way forward for me! The box Harper's Bazaar collaboration was a fabulous theme in my opinion, it gave you higher end established beauty products that you can definitely imagine gracing the pages of Harper's Bazaar, if they haven't already, but that are slightly on the more affordable side, besides the ones, I said 'maybe' to!
So what did you think of this beauty box! Sorry my reviews a bit late -but better later to the game than never! Please comment and get in touch I love a chat!
